2026 Skoda Kodiaq launched with price cut: New features, variants & more

Skoda Auto India has finally launched the 2026 Skoda Kodiaq SUV in the Indian market, priced from Rs 36.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The overall design and mechanical setup remain unchanged, while the feature revisions aim to enhance the ownership experience. Skoda has also significantly revised the Kodiaq’s pricing structure. The entry-level Lounge trim is now more affordable by Rs 3 lakh, while the Sportline variant commands a premium of Rs 1 lakh. Prices for the range-topping Selection L&K have also gone up by Rs 50,000.

The biggest addition to the 2026 Kodiaq is the inclusion of Level 2 ADAS on mid-spec Sportline and Selection L&K variants. It gets adaptive cruise control, adaptive headlights, lane keep assist, blind spot warning, and front warning assist, rear cross traffic alert and more. The Sportline variant now gets several features previously limited to the top-spec Selection L&K trim, including an illuminated grille, Level 1 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and a pre-crash occupant protection system.

Apart from these, the Kodiaq continues to get a 13.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster with a HUD display, 15W wireless smartphone charging with active cooling, unique LED ambient light strip placements and umbrella storage at the front doors. Other expected features include connected car tech, an in-built navigation system, a premium sound system, a performance-oriented features display, a power delivery display and an off-road information display.The Skoda Kodiaq is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo petrol engine with 190 PS of power and 320 nm torque. It comes paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox, which sends power to all four wheels. Skoda says the Kodiaq offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 14.86 kmpl. The SUV will compete against rivals including the Toyota Fortuner, Volkswagen Tayron R-Line, MG Gloster and Jeep Meridian, while also serving as an alternative to the upcoming MG Majestor.
