Sky Daily is facing another painful chapter just months after losing her husband, wrestling icon Hulk Hogan. On Thursday, Daily revealed that her father, Kirk, had died following a long battle with colon cancer, adding another layer of grief to a year already marked by heartbreak.The emotional message came less than a year after Hogan’s death from a heart attack in July 2025. Daily, who married the WWE legend in 2023, opened up on Instagram about the weight of losing both her husband and father in such a short span. In her tribute, Sky Daily reflected on the close bond she shared with her father and the childhood memories he helped create outdoors.“My father Kirk passed away last night after a hard battle with colon cancer that became increasingly difficult this last year,” she wrote.She also thanked his wife, Robin, for caring for him during his illness. Daily described her father as someone who loved nature, camping, hiking, wildlife, and old westerns. Those simple moments, she explained, shaped many of her happiest childhood memories.“He was a true outdoorsman. He loved hiking, camping, canoeing, wildlife, and teaching us every random forest trick he knew,” Daily shared. “He loved westerns and old kung fu movies too, and somehow made all of those things feel magical when we were kids.”Then came the line that revealed just how overwhelming this season of her life has become.“Losing my husband and my father in the same year has honestly gutted me.”Daily said she found some comfort knowing she and her sisters were able to stay by their father’s side through his final days.“I’m comforted somewhat knowing my sisters and I got to be there with him, love him through it all, and make sure he never felt alone at the end,” she added.Support quickly poured in online, including a message from Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan, who commented, “I’m so sorry Sky. We all loved him very much and will miss him deeply.”

Friends close to Hogan often described Daily as a calming presence during the later years of his life.
