Priya Pal, who is based in Bengaluru, recently shared a video on Instagram that quickly started circulating across platforms. In the video, she is seen spending time in a hotel room near her home, simply to stay in an air-conditioned space and avoid the heat outside.The clip also includes a text that reads, “We booked a hotel next to our house only for this in Bengaluru”, which reflects her situation in a very direct way.
Why she chose this option
Later, Priya explained the reason behind this decision in the comments section. She shared, “Because initially we thought it would rain soon, but it didn’t. We looked for a cooler or AC, but everything is unavailable and will take seven days to be delivered. Renting is also unavailable in my area currently due to high demand. So we somehow booked a cooler online and decided to spend Sunday in a hotel, watching Netflix and chilling instead of going out to eat. Looks like a good decision to me.” She also added a short caption that summed up her frustration, writing, “Ab nhi ho rha AC ke bina”.
