Isha Koppikar recently turned curator for a deeply personal cause, hosting an exhibition that showcased her mother’s intricate porcelain art in Mumbai. Opening up about the thought behind the showcase, Isha shared, “It’s a personal expression through porcelain art.”The actress revealed that her mother’s journey with porcelain art has been a long and evolving one. “My mother has been practising this art for almost a decade now, approximately 10 to 15 years. What began as a passion eventually and gradually evolved into a deeply dedicated pursuit. And over time, she has truly mastered the finesse and patience that this art demands.” Having grown up around the craft, Isha admitted that the influence naturally shaped her own appreciation for the art form. “Yes, I love the art. I really admire it, and being around her, I naturally absorbed a lot of the process and appreciation, too, for the art. While I may not practice it as extensively as she does, I deeply value the craft. I would love to pass that appreciation on to my daughter—not just the skill but more about the patience and discipline and the creativity that comes along with it,” she said and added, “Seeing her pursue her passion with such dedication at this stage of life is a reminder that creativity has no age limit.”
