Munir to Musharraf: Pakistan’s generals are at America’s service


Pakistan has been the West’s handmaiden since its formation in 1947. Every Pakistani military dictator, from Ayub Khan and Zia-ul-Haq to Pervez Musharraf and Asim Munir, has done America’s bidding. Since the Pakistani army controls an estimated one-third of the country’s economy, Western politicians find it easy to do business with it.
