Pawan Kalyan fans got a treat as they witnessed their favorite star in an action packed role in Sujeeth’s directorial, ‘They Call Him OG’. Released last year, the film turned out to be a huge hit with fans awaiting for its sequel. Recently, the actor’s team shared an update regarding the second part.

Update on ‘OG’ sequel

Pawan Kalyan’s team took to their X (formerly Twitter) handle to share that Pawan Kalyan and Sujeeth will be discussing the second part soon. They wrote, “As promised, he will. The timing, he will let us know. Once @Sujeethsign returns from abroad, we will discuss. #OG2.”Last year, the makers suggested that a possible sequel of the film or a prequel story may be considered by them after its success.

About ‘They Call Him OG’

The film marked Pawan Kalyan’s big comeback to the big screen after a two-year gap. The action drama revolved around former gangster Ojas Gambheera, who returns to Mumbai’s underworld after a decade to seek revenge against rival gangs. The movie stars Emraan Hashmi, marking his Tollywood debut, playing the main antagonist. It also features Priyanka Mohan, Sriya Reddy, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj and others.The movie collected Rs 295.22 crore worldwide as per Sacnilk.After ‘They Call Him OG’, Pawam Kalyan then starred in Harish Shankar’s cop action drama, ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’.Earlier this year in March, multiple reports regarding Pawan Kalyan’s future projects surfaced on the internet. Pawan Kalyan’s creative team cleared the air as they shared that he has not signed any new movies. They also mentioned that there are no plans to start any new films soon. The team wrote, “As of now, Sri Pawan Kalyan garu has not taken up any new film commitments. Speculations about ongoing projects are not accurate. At present, there are no immediate plans to commence new films.”Now they have officially announced that ‘OG2’ is being discussed.
