According to the Hindustan Times report, “Ahead of ‘Toxic’, Tara Sutaria is set to make her debut at the Cannes Film Festival 2026, representing India on a global stage.”While Tara is not attending Cannes for a film screening, the timing is clearly strategic. The report further added, “With ‘Toxic’ generating buzz, the Cannes debut is expected to spark the beginning of a global phase for Tara’s career.”
Other Indian stars at Cannes 2026
Tara Sutaria will be in good company at the French Riviera. Fellow Indian stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Alia Bhatt are also expected to attend this year. Notably, filmmaker Payal Kapadia will serve as jury president for the 65th edition of Cannes Critics’ Week, running from May 13 to 21.
