Bengaluru: A 22-year-old woman, S Bhavani, was found dead next to her boyfriend, Chandrashekhar alias Chandu, who was unconscious, at her Magadi Main Road residence in Byadarahalli.The woman’s father, Srinivas, a cook, lodged a complaint with Byadarahalli police, accusing his daughter’s boyfriend of murdering her.Srinivas told police that he decided to get Bhavani married to another man of his choice after he learnt about her relationship with Chandu. Bhavani worked as a billing assistant at a mobile showroom on Magadi Main Road and lived in a nearby rented house. “We visited her once a week,” he said.On Friday morning, a family member shared a photograph of Bhavani with Chandrashekhar. “I called her up but she did not answer. We alerted her house owner. He said the door was locked from inside and there was no response. We then informed police who broke open the door and found the two lying on the floor. Bhavani was dead and Chandrashekhar was unconscious. I accuse Chandrashekhar of murdering my daughter,” Srinivas stated in his complaint.
