The upcoming Tamil film directed by Dharani Rasendran and starring Sasikumar has officially completed shooting. The makers shared the update on Wednesday and confirmed that filming for the yet-to-be-titled movie has wrapped up.
About the film
As per a report by IANS, Sasikumar will play an INA officer in the movie. The film is set during the British era and is expected to present the actor in a powerful and different role.Apart from Sasikumar, the movie also features Samuthirakani, Kishore, Seyon, Bhavani Sre, and Sshivada in important roles. Interestingly, Ashok Selvan will appear in a special cameo role.
Makers focusing on VFX work
Even though shooting has been completed, the makers are now moving into another important stage of filmmaking. Sources say the movie will involve heavy VFX work to recreate the film’s world and improve the visual experience.The team reportedly wants to complete post-production with great care and attention. The makers aim to deliver a fresh cinematic experience for audiences. The film’s visuals have been handled by cinematographer Sethu Murugavel, while the music is composed by Sarthak Kalyani. Editing work is being overseen by Mahendran Ganesan.Fans have been highly anticipating the project especially after the success of Dharani Rasendran’s critically praised film ‘Yaathisai’.
